Statistical Significance

Given that we have a set $\tilde x$ of data and a desired level of significance $s$ , we want a function ${\rm ttest}(\tilde x,s)$ which can be either zero or one. If the value is one then the function tells us that the sample mean of the dataset $\tilde x$ is significantly different from zero, at level $s$ .
